Adam Temple - Intervention (Arcade Fire cover)

So starting soon, I'll be teaching guitar at this place called Bach 2 Rock. I'm super hyped about the fact that I'll finally be making a living just off of being decent at guitar, and plan on writing up a more detailed post about all that jazz--getting paid to help kids learn cool things again, the unique curriculum, the fantastic wages(!), the cool young bosses, and the perks (can anyone say free studio time?!)--whenever the spirit moves me to do so in the near future. For now, though, this is a video of yours truly playing my own hybrid slack fingerstyle arrangement of "Intervention" by The Arcade Fire in the key of B, or open DADF#BE, tuned back 3 half steps. It's what I played at the interview/audition and what got me the job. Besides my devastating charm and good looks, of course.

That's awesome! Congrats. Is this a full-time gig?

Thanks, Steph! =]

It's not full-time per se, yet, but my hours will ramp up after about a month of getting my feet wet to the tune of a couple afternoon-evenings a week. The money makes it so it's pretty much all the work I'll have to do, to live, either way, which is a concept that has me infinitely excited...
